Many of Dubai’s villa communities are managed by homeowners’ associations (HOAs) or community management groups that are less directly supervised than the city’s main government body. These governing bodies often have specific regulations for pools, including location, distance from property lines, required fencing, wall materials, and permissible aesthetics. Usually you need to get a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the community management body before you send your application to the main government authority. WHAT THE PERMIT APPLICATION INVOLVES
