If you backwash the filter more than necessary, you are wasting water that is used for backwashing. Smart filtration systems don’t backwash based on a schedule, but based on the pressure of the filter. This helps to avoid wasting water.

SUSTAINABLE CHEMICAL MANAGEMENT

Saltwater chlorination systems generate chlorine from salt, not from man-made chemical products. This cuts down on the chemical supply chain of pool maintenance and provides a more gentle swimming environment. Ultraviolet (UV) disinfection systems use germicidal UV light to treat pool water as it goes through the filtration circuit, which can greatly lower chlorine demand and let the pool run with less chemicals while still being safe.
